Hi,
I am new to all things LINUX. I have a quick question about `rsync` command
in Linux.
I know how to use it for taking backups. But the questions are ...
- Say I have taken a backup today from a host computer to a remote
server. After a year, I do not have the host computer any more. Is there a
way to check in the server where I got this backup folder from and when?
Also, whether I used `rsync` or something else for this backup creation,
like `scp`, etc.? I am using `rsync -a` which means, I am preserving time
stamps also.
Thanks for your help in advance.
Anand
