Firstly, you need to stop making new threads for every reply. It makes it
hard for us to help you out with half the information missing. Why should
anyone bother to help when you make it difficult for them?
You should be able to get resolution of 1024x768 with KDE. KDE has a tool
called krandr. Start it and select 1024x768 in that.
