sshd is running properly, and almost all NIS users can able to ssh to the
server, but few users are facing problem.
As many are able to login correctly, ssh is reading nsswitch.conf and
validates properly.
I couldn't figure out why few users cannot able to do ssh and web login,
while others can.

Have you tried restarting sshd once ? May be, sshd doesn't
read the nsswitch.conf file if it is already running properly. Restart
sshd and try to login again. Thanks
