Dear All,
While creating the soft link using the command ln -s on the mounted
partition, the following error message is appearing:
ln: creating soft link to target. Operation Not Permitted.
I am able to create the soft link to the same file to the target at the
local disk.
I tried the following way to resolve the issue:
Compressed required files from the mount point, extracted to the local
disk, created the required symbolic links and then again putting back on
the mount point.
In spite of this, the same error is repeating when I extracted the files
back to the mount point.
Can any one provide a pointer to create a soft link on the mount points.
