[Ilugc] Openoffice is slow

Hi,
Which is the best distribution to install in PIII 800 ,256 MB RAM system?My
current distribution is oracle enterprise linux 5.I need to work with Oracle
DB.So I choose this distribution.Before this,I used FC4.I couldnt install
oracle 10g rel2 in FC4.
Try Slackware (
http://www.slackware.com) - a light-weight distribution
that works well on old hardware. I did manage to get Oracle 10g
installed on Slackware 10.1 a long time ago - with some minor hacks

And yes, try it out on a test machine before migrating it on the
production server.
