Hi friends,
We had some controversial conversations in the recent past
here. I was also involved in some of those like top-posting issue,
company's confidential disclaimer etc. I know we have some rules or
netiquettes in here. We cannot expect a new comer to know all these
stuff. If some one violating this should be warned, but how is the
question now. Most of us immediately replied to them, on the list to
STOP THAT (hope you can understand why this is all caps). This will
make a new comer nervous and leads to an unnecessary controversy.
OK here is my suggestion if some one makes any mistake or violation
please inform them off the list by sending them a private mail. If
they keep doing this again warn them on the list and if still they
haven't corrected their mistakes we can kick them off the list.
Chennai LUG is a public forum it's available to everyone who wants to
learn Linux and GNU stuff we can expect very dumb new comer here so
it's our duty to make them feel comfortable in here. After all there
is nothing wrong in being kind to others.
