Why DOS? You will be able to read using any floppy bootable linux. A lot
of mini floopy bootable distributions like Coyote, Trilux etc will do a
good job. This would be better than experimenting with DOS. These
floppies use the msdos 1.44 or 1.68MB floppy formats and hence can be
duplicated by diskcopy.

Subject: [Ilugc] OT-Using Linux FS in DOS
Hi,
I think it will go into OT but I am not sure.I need to develop a
utility
by which I can use a Linux File system either ext2 or XFS in DOS. That
is
when a Linux machine gone bad and I dont have Linux Boot Floppy,I need
to
boot the machine in DOS and Able to list/read/write Files in ext2/XFS
file
system.
What I like to know is. whether you people came across any such type
of
utilities. If so please send me the Pointers.
TIA
Sathya
