It always happens in "Reply all". This is the way that most of the users
operate in the list. It would be a pain to hand pick the names to be
removed. And I fear that none can find a way to stop CC'ing you on a
thread that you are related and even if you there are, it is going to be
a pain for them.
PS: I am addressing you in the "To" field and "CC"ing the group. ;-)
