i think this post need not be marked OT coz the peom seems as though its
tailor made for the FOSS movement.
There was an occasion for me to quote the poem by Tagore on an issue
touching schools at:

The thing that has changed since then is that Linus and his friends have
started demanding license fees for using the alleged "linux" trademark.
Those activities are leashed out from www.linuxmark.org "Linux" is both
the name of a kernel released under the GPL and also the name by which GNU
operating system has been called when run with the said kernel. "Linux" is
a generic name and distributors and service providers are free to use it as
part of their names, and it has been freely used by many as such for many
years. Though the claim that the word "linux" is a trademark is untenable,
these activities are a big blow to the spirit of of free software. It is
ridiculous to hold the idea that "linux" is "free" - as long its so called
"owner" demands a "fee" for merely using "linux" as part of product names or
labels. There are many ways to make $money with free software, but this is
not one of them. Thousands of others have contributed to the development of
the "linux" kernel, and no single person can hold it to ransom. In this
situation, the OT tag used by Mohammed Riyaz is correct so far as this list
is concerned :(
