afaik you cant get a visa without a degree - and a programmer that you
cannot send to foreign if needed is of no use to a company
I do not know what is in the book but my experience at Chennai US consulate says
the executives doing the VISA interview seem to give importance to
degree and what degree.
In the counter next to me, I clearly heard someone being loudly told
"You are not academically qualified"
It even turned out to be fraudulent. Someone with B.COM degree, some
certificate from NIIT with fake
papers. poor guy!
