Hi Sir,
My objective is not to start a group a group with a Fancy name.This is actually
a User group already existing in our college. I am promoting a FOSS group at my
University with my own efforts . Because my university is not supporting FOSS
activities , so people at my college donot know what linux is . All the
existing group is talking Linux in Higher way, So as per my friends request i
am starting a group to describe open source in a very basic way.

That's the good news.
I am Arun Prakash. I am doing my final year B.Tech.I am aiming to bring
more people to open source and for that i started a group "FOSSIS"

improve the Group . Also join the group and give your valuable ideas.Please
post your valuable ideas to promote open source.
with the options, we don't know what to pick and what to leave. Which group
to join and which to subscribe. If the same situation prolongs people would
not know which party to support since too many regional parties. Same thing
could happen to the lug groups too. I hope we have enough groups, I am sure
our inbox are flooded with the e-mails not sure whether we another group to
promote the F/OSS. Why cant you do the same joining in hand with the
existing groups.
