Dear Friends,
I am using NIS server for client authentication, few
days back i added one user and updated NIS Database
using the command.
# cd /var/yp
# make
on that day the date was Mar,18 2013, I am failed to
notice/check that. I even don't how it changed to
2013.
All the files are modified with the date stamp as
Mar,18 2013.
Later i changed the date.
Now i added a new user and when i trying to up NIS
Data base using
#cd /var/yp
#make
Iam getting the following error.
make
gmake[1]: Entering directory `/var/yp/casin'
gmake[1]: *** Warning: File `passwd.byname' has
modification time in the future (2013-03-08 10:04:27 >

gmake[1]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
gmake[1]: warning: Clock skew detected. Your build
