redhat 9 will not automount windows partition. You need to do it
manualy e.g. Mandrake will do this.
first create a suitable directory like /mnt/windows_c or any other
place you want.
mount /dev/hda1 /mnt/windows_c
where /dev/hda1 is your C drive hda2 is D etc.
Look at man mount for more information.
Similaryly redhat 9 will not auto mount cds.First right click on
icon,
select mount and then try to access with double click.
