unless I am mistaken, I think you have to add an MX record in your DNS
server which qualifies your mail server.
ex if 192.168.0.1 is the mail server, you have to add an MX record for the
same in your DNS machine and only then it should proceed.
I maybe wrong....srs would be able to help you better.

I have installed Redhat linux 8.0 and i have configured
sendmail
service and i have send and receive the mails in netcape mail client it
is working properly and i have enable the pop3 and imap service in my
mail server and i setup outlook express in another windows machine and i
gave pop3 and smtp is my linux server IP , I can receiving the mails
from my Linux server but i cannot send any mails in that server it is
display one error message that is
Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes
for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of
inactivity. Account: '192.168.0.3 (1)', Server: '192.168.0.3', Protocol:
SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F
My Linux Machine IP is ===> 192.168.0.3
Windows IP is ===> 192.168.0.2
any body help me how to solve this problem
