Below are two kinds of profiles whom we intend to attract.
On both, we are looking at active members in Linux community, who have
good knowledge the different open source products. Preferably
contributed to the Open Source movement....

The server side hosts most of the users applications and data. To work
in this area we are looking at one person with 4 to 6 years of
experience in software industry. Of course like the client side, we are
also require people with lesser experience. These person should have
very good knowledge of the different component, utilities and
applications in Linux. We are looking out for people who can enrich the
existing server side software. the areas that we will be working in
include.
* X Window internals.
* Network and remote Management of server and clients.
* User information and data management.
These persons should have strong C and debugging skills. As in the
client side, we expect the person with experience to mentor and lead the
rest of the team.
On the server side, we require one person with good J2EE knowledge. We
expect this person to work with Linux App Servers.

We are looking for persons with experience in developing and porting
applications onto Linux. Since the foot print of Linux on the client
side is low, persons with experience in embedded Linux is preferred.
We are also looking at persons with experience in device driver
development. This is a urgent requirement for us, since we would like to
start supporting a few devices on our Thin Clients.
Some of the characteristics we are looking for in these persons are as
follows.
* Experience in Linux OS Build and Tool Chain.
* Experience in TCP/IP Stack Porting.
* Expertize in 'C' Programming on Linux.
* Embedded Software Testing and Debugging Skills.
Though we are looking for people with 2 to 4 years of experience, we
would like to have at least one person with nearly 6 years of experience
in software industry. We expect this person to mentor and lead the other
members in the embedded Linux team.
