Go to the
/etc/locale.gen
and add the locale you want or just uncomment the locale you want. then run
this command as root
locale.gen
then you can see what locales are generated..
Peace!

Hi,
I would like to know how to see what locale is set in my Debian etch
box. If I need to set a particular locale how to go about it in Debian
etch? Provided I dont have X server running on the machine.
