Edited grub.conf as given by Vijairaj and it is working fine.

You need to manually add the entry for Freebsd in the grub config file
which will be something like

title   FreeBSD-5.21 x86
        rootnoverify    (hd0,3)
        chainloader     +1
        BOOT

replace (hd0,3) suitably
