Hi folks!
I am trying to connect a Samtron SC-428PS monitor to
the external video port of my laptop (Thinkpad T41
having ATI 7500). I am able to view the display on the
external monitor, but, the image is at a very low
resolution on the external monitor (640x480 or
800x600) and it doesn't cover the entire screen as can
be seen from:

If I move the mouse to the extreme ends of the
display, the screen moves and shows the missed
sections. I did read through the radeon and XF86Config
man pages.
My current /etc/X11/XF86Config file

I also found out that this Samtron does only upto
800x600 and hence cannot support the 1024x768.
If anyone is willing to lend a monitor for 2 days for
the LinuxFest, it will be great. I will first test it
with your monitor and if it works great, I would like
to use it for two days. If you like, you can join me
for a demo. I am trying to setup a "Dual Head" or
"Clone Head" with two displays.
Please reply ASAP,
Thanks,
Shaks
