[Ilugc] Linux booting problem in x86

Does anybody know a solution to this problem.
I know that I have to change those wires.
But is such a change possible.
Will I have to change the entire power cable setup?
Please try to terminate your lines within 80 chars, and don't
rely on auto line-wrap. It messes up the formatting of replies on
lots of text-mode mail clients.
Anyway, there are several fixes possible:
1) Find one power connector, out of the 3 or 4 molex connectors from
the SMPS, that works well, and use it for the hard disk. Dummy out
the defective/loose connector or use it for a less critical peripheral,
like a DVD drive.
2) Try using a pair of tweezers to adjust the fit of the inner metallic
sleeve contacts on the defective molex connector from the SMPS. Slightly
tightening them usually works.
3) Replace the entire SMPS with a new, higher-quality unit.
