now is it possible that i can link the gcc compiled lib with sun
compilers on X86 box
I hope, this is possible. Bcoz .a files are standard collection of
obj files. Just try..
Sun studio's compiler's output does not play well with gcc's linker. I
have tried this quite sometime ago and even though you seem to get
some output, it dumps a few kgs of core on you.
However, it is always worth the shot. Do post back if it worked.
