[Ilugc] Keyboard doesn't work suddenly on Gnome (Debian Sarge kernel 2.6)

maybe you ran out of memory
I've got 376MB of RAM and 1 GB of SWAP. So running out of memory is
least possible.
I'm unable to use my keyboard everytime I enter Gnome. It beeps
whenever I press any button.
