Hi All
first i do the kernel compilation 2.6.10,its run successfully and make
i done the following steps
1.unzip the tar file linux.2.6.10.tar.bz2
2.cd linux-2.6.10
3 make menuconfig ARCH=um
4.make linux ARCH=um
5.make modules ARCH=um
6.i download the root file system in the internet
7.mount the file system in mnt
8.make modules_install INSTALL_MOD_PATH=/mnt ARCH=um
9.finally run the script ./linux ubd0=root_fs
it shows the bug as like this
ubda unknown partion table
kernel panic -not sync
unable to open init console such
please help me to overcome this issue !

my error is

, can't work , hangle on " Checking root filesystem
