You will require in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with UNIX
system/application management, networking architecture, SQL, and web-apache
based applications in a UNIX environment.
?
Minimum Qualification:
- Excellent system level understanding of UNIX system.
- Strong Problem Solving Skills in UNIX environment.
- Good understanding of web servers (Apache), http, DNS.
- Operations knowledge of MySQL or other database system.
- Scripting in shell, Perl or PHP, regular expressions.
?
Recommended Qualifications:
- Prior online application management experience.
- Experience working in a 24x7 high traffic environment
- Routers, switches, load balancers, Vips, akamai.
- Developing Monitoring infrastructure for applications monitoring.
- Prior experience in developing capacity planning and bench marking
infrastructure
- Performance Tuning (UNIX, Networking, Web)
- UNIX core dump analysis
- Prior software development experience
- Organized with strong verbal and written communications skills
- BE/ME in Computer Science (or equivalent) with relevant work experience.
