I have a strange problem for the past 24 hours.
I am using a BSNL broadband connection at Chennai.
I am unable to access any of the ubuntu related sites for more than 24
hours using any operating system (windows, linux) or browser through my
connection. These includes websites like ubuntu.com , kubuntu, xubuntu,
ubuntuforums, cannonical or even irc or update my ubuntu installation.
I am however able to access most other websites i use normally like
google, yahoo, kernel.org and other sites.
Does BSNL block some websites. If so why would they block ubuntu
related sites?
Am i the only person facing this? are others using bsnl in chennai or
elsewhere having this problem?
I have registered a complaint at the BSNL call center... can someone
email me if they are also facing it?

Hi,
I am using the firefox version 2.0.0.3 . I have implemented the web
interface
in php5.2 version. In that interface, I am having the listview with
more than 5000 records. The listview is implemented with the activewidgets2.0
version.
When, i am selecting all the records in the listview (ie) clicking
the check boxes, the page is giving the javascript alert that,
"A script on this page may be busy, or it may have stopped
responding. You can
stop the script now, or you can continue to see if the script will
complete?".
* The above alert is not coming for selecting 1000 records. If the
records are
more that 1000 then the above alert message is automatically coming.
* I am using the code for selecting all the rows.

JAVASCRIPT code? .

FTP and several other protocols.
It also lends to easy scriptability.
Whereas tools like wget and lftp are geared towards end user.

In that case use libcurl. libcurl is the library used by curl to do
all its HTTP connections. Its pretty easy to use if you spend some
time with the documentation.
