That's for your PCMCIA card. If its crappy .. get rid of it and see if
it works for you. Nothing wrong with broadcom - 2.6.17 (which you get
in edgy) and up should have pretty decent support for broadcom wifi.
Looks a bit unrelated to your 8139 issues. Just for kicks poke through
the rtl8139 and 8139too module source and see all the sarcastic things
Donald Becker has to say about realtek ..
Make sure you have it on full duplex - if you autonegotiate it it may go
to half duplex, which on an older (10 mbps) hub, can give you real slow
speeds. Try using a switch instead of a hub and see if that helps.
