my sound card is not working. Any slack users using this

I just installed it myself some days back. I have the same sound card,
but even after unmuting the sound using aumix, it doesn't work.
Once I find time, I'll google for just what needs to be stuck into
/etc/modules.conf for this to work. Or you could save me some time,
google for it, get it working and mail the list .. may be quite some
time before I next boot into linux, I'm traveling, and this laptop only
has windows on it.
