Hi,
I am using Ubuntu edgy (64 bit). I would like to install the latest
version of iceweasel(2.0) from Debian unstable repository in my Ubuntu
box. How to go about this?
I obtained a copy of .deb file of iceweasel from the following link
http://safeweb.sitesled.com/iceweasel/builds/iceweasel_1.5.0.8pre-2.deb
and it installs well, the problem is, it is an older version :(
I tried installing the iceweasel deb (i386) obtained from the following link:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/web/iceweasel
but it is conflicting with libfontconfig1 package of ubuntu, though it
is a dependency mentioned in the above page. I tried the amd64 deb
package from the above link, but it said "Error: Wrong architecture
'amd64'"
