We have solaris/sparc systems here .. and I would like install vim in
one of such system. sunfreeware.com has the .local.gz file. I don't
have root access. Hence I would like to have the binary in .tar.gz
(or something else), so that I could extract it and either install it
in the home directory or run it directly from it. Please note that
the sun machines doesn't have any of the gnu tools like gtk+, glib !
So the binary is expected to have them either statically linked or
come with .so files like firefox [1]
We are having ICPC prelims contest at 9.30 am today. I would be happy
if someone replies before it :)
