Consider the followinf situation:
One server and several clients connecting to it. All these clients
will typically access the server for VNC. Communication on this LAN is
only between clients and the server. There is no inter-client
communication as such like on normal LANs.
What I now need to do is to encrypt IP traffic between the server and
the clients. I tried out IPSec (openswan), but that does not seem to
be the solution since its most natural use is creation of tunnels
between two gateways(with a network behind them). Here I want to
encrypt IP traffic between two hosts that are directly connected.
Are there any other suggestions on this regard?
