So if its wrong, you can correct the mistake right..! but why do you keep
on sending mails like this..? I think you hav no rights to talk about the
intelligence of others, so if you dont like people sending mails without a
proper subject line you can simply ignore, or just tell the guidelines or
you can simply **leave** off this list right?
wrong. This list is governed by peer pressure - every member has the right and
duty to correct mistakes of others. And it is highly irritating to have the
thread messed up by message recycling. If you do not want to be corrected by
fellow members *you* can simply leave. Right?
ya correction can be done, but in a very ***decent*** way ( and not the way
you are doing) without talking about others **intelligence**..
But why cant you do that??
There are 2 issues here:
a. The fact that you did not follow the list guidelines
b. The manner in which Kenneth corrected you
In the eyes of the list members (a) is a bigger fault that (b).
You have to understand that not bothering to read the list guidelines or not
following it even though you've read it is *much* more offensive to old time
list members than the tone that Kenneth used.
Not following the rules indicates that you somehow think that you are special
and that other members should accommodate your actions, while you disregard any
courtesy.
Why must Kenneth be ***decent*** (sic) when it is you who have been
discourteous
to everyone on this list ? It's like using a phone in a theater -- if you do
it,
somebody might politely ask you not to do it but you also have to be ready to
be
yelled at -- so it's best if you don't do it at all and even if you do, be
humble enough to accept your mistake.
If you can't do that, just grow a thick skin, because you'll most likely be
flamed by others.
Don't expect sympathizers from the set of people who you disrespect by
expecting
privileged treatment.
cheers,
- steve
