Greetings!
We all know Linux is the kernel and the entire system
is referred to as GNU/Linux.
We need to emphasize the importance of the GNU project
and FSF. Over the years, the media and others have
been calling the system incorrectly as Linux. We all
know that without GNU softwares and packages, Linux is
not functional. We can't even compile Linux without
the GNU C Compiler (gcc).
As professionals, we ourselves shouldn't make the
mistake.
I would like to make a request on changing our LUG
name to either:
Indian GNU/Linux User's Group, Chennai (IGLUGC)
or
Chennai GNU/Linux User's Group (CGLUG)
