[Ilugc] How to install SVN in RedHat ?

Hi Luggies !

      I tried to install SVN(Subversion) in my redhat-9 machine. I
downloaded subversion-1.4.0, subversion-deps-1.4.0 and extracted in
/usr/local/subversion-1.4.0. and followed the steps given in install file.
i'm not getting clear idea to follow the process. kindly assist me how to do
the same.
