I once spoke to RedHat Manager about this. His explanation was something like
this.
You can install on multiple system from same CD.
However, the support is only for one system.
If you install on more than one system you violate a gentleman agreement that
you will buy one copy per system.
CDs have some of their trademark materials, so replicating them may pose legal
hurdles.
How far these things are maintainable in a court of law is questionable given
the fact that underlying software are foss.
