I will probably not talk to the LUG about the Robotics piece, but would
be happy
to talk to you individually or if others are interested.. since it is
not currently linux
related.
I talked to a few people about topics and what has been covered.. I
will probably
demo a Cray Linux machine (formerly the company was called Octigabay in
BC, Canada).
that is mostly what I have been working on in the last 6 months
anyway. Just a quick
demo of that.. And talk about SATA since apparently there is a lot of
interest in SATA.
I have a system with 2TB's that has been running for 1 1/2 years, I plan
to expand to about
6 TBs this year, and I am looking at filesystems to use. Also I have
been running LVM
filesystem on my notebook for about 5 months (LVM is handy since you can
reallocate
space between filesystems without repartitioning your disk).
Another topic would be autoyast (for SuSE) and kickstart for (RedHat)
but it sounds like
you just had a Kickstart talk. I will write up notes on most of these
topics and print
them out.. (How many people are normally expected?).
