So I will:
    1. Talk about the Cray XD1 (http://www.cray.com).  And if possible
demo the
        administrative GUI.. (I normally use a command line.. .which is
also available).
    2. Talk about SATA and what I have been doing with that for
centralized NFS servers.
       (with Terabytes of storage).  (Which is also the machine I use
for PXEboot
      and Kickstart and autoyast).
    3. I will discuss some of the features of LVM (I am open to
comments, of other
       similar filesystems.  I had used SGIs XFS also, and I have not
had a chance to
       play with EVMS).
    4. I will have handouts regarding PXE boot/kickstart/autoyast setup
and how you can
       mix linux boxes in a Windows network that also uses PXEboot.

Cool - are you physically bringing one? There are some minor logistics
issues (gate pass, etc.). E-Mail me or Bharathi to sort it out.

been running LVM
filesystem on my notebook for about 5 months (LVM is handy since you can
reallocate
space between filesystems without repartitioning your disk).

Cool. I've been meaning to do this and return to my AIX roots, but
too much inertia. For now, I just copy out the entire contents of the
filesystem, resize and reformat, and copy back the contents. Painful.

I just have my notebook. I can demo from anything I have ssh access
from, but my
notebook has Ciscos VPN so it makes it much easier to do a demo of the
software.
And LVM setup is not a problem I can write up that also. The only
filesystem on
my notebook that is not LVM is /boot which had to be ext3 or others like
that.

Another topic would be autoyast (for SuSE) and kickstart for (RedHat)
but it sounds like
you just had a Kickstart talk.   I will write up notes on most of these
topics and print
them out..  (How many people are normally expected?).



An introduction to Kickstart would be useful - there aren't too many
SuSE users here (I could get flamed for this :-)). About 20..30 people
usually show up, with a general mix of newbies as well as experienced
folks. It helps to target the talk at newbies, though.

Okay.. I will writeup a quick howto on PXEboot with KickStart and
autoyast just so we
have both. It is handy for clusters (Grid based or PBS queued or even a
larger number
of desktops).
