[Ilugc] Green Screen While Playing Videos

And i also tried that command prompt thing also
it said "cannot open display"

My graphic card is 64mb inbuilt

but when i installed ubuntu 7.10 i had no problem like this
i was playing video at ease

but now i tried everything but still the problem persists


now any ideas???

I solely use Mplayer on Archlinux. But I think I have seen this problem in
Ubuntu before. The mplayer solution is doing mplayer -vo help .This will
list all video output drivers.. Try them all till one of them plays..

eg mplayer -vo xv
mplayer -vo X11 ..

When you get the one that works add the following line to your
.mplayer/config
vo="xv"
or vo="X11" etc.
