Hello All,
Thinvent is looking for Linux System Developers, who will be
responsible for the development, maintenance and deployment of our
Linux based products.
We program in C, bash, HTML5, Java-script, Perl, and the occasional
Python. We work with a number of open source communities, contributing
code upstream and behaving like responsible users of free software.
Your typical day will involved writing kernel drivers, CUPS filters,
terminal emulators, Munin plugins, and cloud management applications.
You will debug serial and USB communication, optimise the kernel for
specific architectures, benchmark and test hardware to the point of
destruction, port uboot to new platforms, and write multi-threaded web
applications that can handle thousands of simultaneous connections.
If you live and breathe computers, can extract relevant information
from the Internet at the speed of light, don?t have to refer to man
pages to use console commands, can write shell scripts and C and Perl
programs, can use and abuse package repositories, and would love to be
a part of the team that is building India?s most successful Linux
