Information Technology Act, 2000 regarding

content that can be posted online. The rules have the potential to be used

internet through the back door and could have chilling effects on free
speech and dissemination of
information. The rules also go far beyond the IT Act, under which the rules
have been framed, and
have provisions that affect the fundamental rights of citizens including the
right to freedom of
speech and expression as well as the right to privacy.
