Hi,
Solaris, HP-UX, AIX are the variants of UNIX for their respective
processors like Sun SPARC, etc. Basically, Sun, HP, IBM, etc bought the
source code from SCO for porting UNIX to their processor platforms while
SCO concentrated only on x86 (IA32). This tree may be of use to you to
have an idea about the descendants of UNIX. Pretty interesting.
