Hi Barani,
Do not use telnet. Use SSH, and ssh clients are
available all over the net like teraterm(<1MB),

If you still want telnet, make sure you installed
telnet server. If not install using
this command...
#urpmi telnet-server
This will install all necessary dependentant
packages...and no need to touch xinetd, if i'm not
wrong.
