Hi friends
I have configured DNS in fedora,
when i issue the 'nslookup -sil
netserver.stjosephs.com'
it shows the follwing error
server: 197.168.0.250
Address: 197.168.0.250
** server can't find netserver.stjosephs.com :
NXDOMAIN
('netserver' is server hostname & 'stjosephs.com' is
my domain name)
I have also issued the 'host' command, it also
prompting error as follows
host netserver.stjosephs.com not found: 3(NXDOMAIN)
is it necessary to specify my hostname in /etc/hosts
useing lan ip ?
