Trainer Profile
Dr S Ravichandran, an eminent Technocrat and Scientist of international
repute, started his career with the Indian Government at Atomic Energy
Commission and Nuclear
Power Corporation and served as a Scientific Officer for 18 years. He is
presently the Chairman, CEO and Chief Scientist of Trimentus Technologies,
Chennai & US. Dr Ravi has contributed invaluably to the field of process and
quality engineering through this in-depth knowledge, intellectual integrity,
unparalleled linguistic style and perseverance coupled with innovation.
Among his various other educational qualifications such as ME, MBA, ITIL V3
Foundation and CSQA, Dr Ravi has also obtained his Ph.D in
Physics/Engineering (lnter Disciplinary). He has been conferred with the
title ?Professor Emeritus? by MGR Engineering Deemed University and Member
of Board & Research studies of Anna University, Coimbatore. He is also an
Information Technology Advisor for many other prominent engineering
colleges, visiting faculty for several universities at various levels of
education, PhD examiner
and mentor at institutions such as BITS Pilani etc. He has been carrying out
several courses in many prominent universities and colleges as a specialist
guest faculty. Many
of these courses include subjects such as Process Improvement, Software

Vietnam, Greece and his home country India and many others. He has certified
more than 100 companies worldwide which include HP, AIG, Panasonic,
Cognizant Technology Solutions, Accenture, Polaris, IBM, and many others. In
India, he has been the leader for SPIN (Software Process improvement
Network) forum, Chennai chapter; Speaker for Confederation of Indian
Industry (CII) and Center for Reliability; Certified ISO 9000 Lead Assessor
(QA) and has presented over 100 Technical Papers in various topics ranging
from Atomic Physics,
Software Engineering, Quality assurance, Process improvement etc, in
International and National Journals, Seminars and Conferences. His
publications have been widely acclaimed for their scientific and in-depth
knowledge content. Internationally, he has been the reviewer for prominent
conferences and certifications. He has also been selected as a reviewer for
CISA (Certified Information System Auditor) course manual of the Information
Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), USA. He has proctored various
