None. AFAIK both of them perform the same way. Apache httpd is most
widely used and has most support modules. httpd is pretty easy to use
and configure. If you want a web server that works fine for production
use with least trouble i suggest you go with apache httpd with worker
mpm. But there are other that claim to be better in performance than
httpd. Like lighttpd, ng-htppd, etc. Explore your options. I think
which web server you use matters more than which distro you use. If
you use non-conventional method of choosing other httpd than apache,
it would be interesting to know your experinces, esp if you are using
in high traffic environment. I have extensive experince in configuring
and troubleshooting apache httpd in high traffic enviroment. But i am
bored of it and looking for other web server bechmarks and usability
and stuff like that.
