A few initial blocks that would require addition/modifacation of existing
802.11a/g port to linux. These would be multiple configuration of MAC
layer(based on Base Station, CPE Subscriber Satation and many others who
would like to put there existing ass in 4G) and alternative techniques
applied to PHY modules like OFDMA.
In Linux implementation of [0802.16 + 802.16e(mobile)], what are the
reference for wireless broadband frame header?
I need more input in this discussion..

Are the specs open? In which case some
implementation is possible. I think IEEE charges
several $$$$$ for these specs.
Or is it too bleeding edge that an implementation is not ready yet?
I think if you have IEEE subscription you can download the specs from
the website.
What I mean to say is that you might have to use a strategy different
from google for this. :-)
Best is to get in touch with an academic institution which usually has
access to IEEE documents.
