Dear All,
Sorry for the delay (busy week with work!), but I have now set up a mailing
list.

- You can subscribe to the list by sending email to
iee_comp_london-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'subscribe' in the Subject field OR
by logging into the Web interface at www.freelist.org.

- Once you have subscribed, to post on the mailing list, simply send email to
iee_comp_london@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

If you have any problems with subscribing then let me and I'll try to sort it
out.

You can see an archive at //www.freelists.org/archives/iee_comp_london/
(it's rather empty at the moment as I deleted my test message).

You may also find it useful to have a look at //www.freelists.org/help/
faq.html

A option you may find useful if you don't want to receive lots of invidual
emails is to select then digest option (this will batch all emails up each
day and send them to you as single email).

Note that at the moment it doesn't like html mail (though it should convert
html to plain text hopefully) or attachments. If you want to people to see
documents then put them on the web and post a link (remember not everyone has
a broadband connection yet).

My intention at the moment was to just have one general list, but depending
how it goes we could set up other lists focused on particular topic areas if
they are generating a lot of postings that not everyone is interested in.

Regards,
Edward
