HTH, thanks for your response, In 16.2 I?changed reference designators only. I then opened 15.7 and?reloaded schematic?in 15.7 and did a file save as "xxs.sch", then sent it to board?house. I hope i don't have any issues later. Thanks Sam -----Original Message----- From: rjbzxr@xxxxxxxxxxxx To: icu-pcb-forum@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thu, Sep 24, 2009 1:38 pm Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Re: orcad 16 back to 15.7 Sam, Shouldn't be any issue's moving the OrCAD Schematic capture back from 16.2 > 15.7. 1 Note of caution..? You are able to "Reset the Location" of Pin Number's on Schematic symbols in version 16.x this was a new feature and is not backwards compatible. If you have done this to any of your symbols in an existing schematic design *.dsn then you have to remove them back to the library defaults. You do this by clicking on the design name in your project area, then goto the File > SaveAS as in the attached snapshot. If you have never performed Pin Location moving on Schematic symbols then you would not see this dialog.
