Chandra,
Look under your installed program directory..
example:
<installation_directory>/PCB1551/doc/
Those directory with <concepthdl*> has very very detail write up for it.
Enjoy

Hi all,
Can someone provide me with the document that helps me in creating
logical symbols in Concept HDL Cadence 15.5?
Regards

Judging by your pictures, it looks like you have the pin spacing at
0.05". The defaults in the tools are set for 0.10" pin spacing. Pin
number text size at the schematic level is defined at the schematic
level under Tools => Options and then select the tab labeled "Text". If
you are using that small of pin spacing you will need to change that
default size accordingly, probably something very hard to read for us
old guys.
Pin numbers are not visible in the symbol editor. You can, however,
define a placeholder at a specific size in the symbol editor - $PN=?.

Subject: [PCB_FORUM] Schematic Symbol (Part) Question
Good afternoon fellow designers,
Folks I have a couple schematic symbol (or Part as Cadence calls
them) questions:
1: Below is a screen shot of a symbol I am in the process of
creating. See how the pin signal name appears both inside and outside
the outline - is there any way to see the Pin Number on the outside of
the outline instead of the signal name? I would prefer to see the symbol
in the editor as it will look in the schematic.
2: Below is a screen shot of the same symbol inserted into a
schematic page. The pin numbers are now visible (as I would have wanted
to the symbol to be), but the problem I am having now is that the Pin
Number text size is too large and overlapping each other. Would you
happen to know how to reduce the text size of the Pin Numbers.
Thanks in advance to all for your appreciative help.
