Hello All.
I was trying SPB16.2 for diff pairs swap enhancement.
I tried to add DIFF_PAIR_PINS_POS/NEG on the chips.prt file of a EP3C...
Then I got autogenerated diff pairs in Allegro.
But the device only use some of diff pairs, other pins are used as
normal IO.
Then, both nets connected on these pairs of pins were defined as diff
pairs and want to be routed as diff pairs.
But both nets are totally different.
I decided to remove chips.prt DIFF_PAIR_PINS_POS/NEG properties.
But whatever I tried (package again, remove properties from state file,
remove the symbol on the schematic,...)
I tried to keep DIFF_PAIR_PINS_POS/NEG as empty =''; but not better....
nets are still defined as "diff pairs defined by component library":
Diff pair members: net CMD_SEL_0
net CMD_CLK_4
Diff pair defined by component library
Properties attached to net
LOGICAL_PATH = @roman_pots_motherboard_lib.roman_pots_motherb
oard_v4(sch_1):cmd_clk_4
Member of Groups:
DIFF_PAIR : DP_CMD_CLK_4
This information seems to be stored directly inside Allegro.
If I import logic in a empty board, it's OK.
Even if I paste a clipboard from the old BRD, it is still OK.
Does anybody know how to remove it? (before I send a SR to Cadence...)
Thanksin advance.
William.
