Hi Gary, What we are doing for this problem is disabling the Aero desktop composition feature of Win7 for Allegro only. See procedure below: 1. Navigate to the executable program from Start Menu: Cadence Release PCB Editor. 2. Right click on it and select Properties. 3. Select the "Compatibility" tab and "check" Disable desktop composition, then click on OK. [cid:image008.jpg@01CDB06D.074468A0] 4. Reopen your PCB Editor. Hope this helps. Hey guys, Well, I got a new laptop recently (HP, Windows 7 Enterprise), and the dreaded Infinite Cursor bug issue is back! In my "env" file, I have the line "set infinite_cursor_bug_nt". Here's the kicker: When I load a board into Allegro, the infinite cursor leaves trails (they only disappear when I pan, zoom etc.). When I reread in my env file, *then* the infinite cursor behaves properly (leaves no trials behind)! Anyone know if there's some setting in Windows that's causing this? Is there some other setting in Allegro or an env entry that will fix the issue? Thanks for any help.
