You can FILE >> EXPORT >> LIBRARIES, in the Allegro editing window, into
a separate directory, but all of the padstacks and symbols will have the
same number of etch layers as the Allegro .brd file.

  We have been using Altium DXP (known as Protel ) and Altium has a
feature that can generate footprint library automatically from a pcb
design. 

 

  I want to ask if Cadence Allegro has a feature of generating jedec
types from a pcb project? If how?
